These states and respective tax rates are as follows; Arizona 6.25%, California 6.25%, Florida 6%, Hawaii 4%, Massachusetts 6.25%, Michigan 6% and South Carolina 5% (up to a maximum of $300, South Carolina only). Buyers may be responsible for additional local taxes in these states as well. For example, California has a state sales tax of 6.25%, but the tax rate in certain counties may be 8%, you would have to pay the 1.75% difference when registering then. These reciprocal sales taxes are not double taxes, you will not have to pay the percentage of sales tax again when registering your state.
